SIMPLE PRESENT KEY TIPS

• The verb changes only in the AFFIRMATIVE FORM ( + ) and in THIRD PERSON ( she - he - it )

• If the verb finishes in SH - CH - GO - DO - X add to the verb "ES" 

Ex.   Finish > Finishes

        Watch > Watches

        Go      > Goes
        Do      > Does 

       Box    > Boxes

• If the verb finishes in CONSONANT + Y add to the verb "IES"

Ex.   Study >  Studies

        Carry  >  Carries

        Copy  >  Copies

        Cry    >  Cries

• Otherwise just add "S" to the verb

Ex.   Learn >   Learns

       Play   >   Plays

       Live   >   Lives

        Stop   >   Stops

       Like   >   Likes
